Halle-Neustadt, the „city of modernity“, helped the international representation of the success in rebuilding socialism in the GDR, which becomes visible in the quality of the filmed documentations about „Halle-Neustadt“. Hans-Otto Brambach (Architekturkreis Halle) and Daniel Herrmann (Werkleitz) comment on the films which show the progress of the construction of „Halle-Neustadt“.
